Abstract:
A laminate having a structure in which a layer containing a cellulose ester and a layer containing a block polymer containing a polyamide chain and/or a graft polymer containing a polyamide chain are arranged adjacent to each other, and wherein the polyamide chain has a structural unit represented by general formula (1); an optical film, a polarizing plate protective film and a polarizing plate, each of which uses this laminate; and an image display device which uses this polarizing plate. In general formula (1), each of X1 and X2 represents an amide bond; L1 represents a single bond or a divalent group; each of R1-R3 represents a specific substituent; and each of n1-n3 represents an integer of 0-4.
