Abstract:
A laminate having an electrode for electrolysis and a barrier membrane that is layered on the electrode for electrolysis, wherein after the laminate has been moistened with a 3mol/L NaCl aqueous solution and stored for 96 hours under normal temperature storage conditions, the quantity of transition metal components (excluding zirconium) as detected from the barrier membrane is 100cps or less. A protective laminate including: a first electrode for electrolysis; a second electrode for electrolysis; a barrier membrane that is positioned between the first electrode for electrolysis and the second electrode for electrolysis; and an insulating sheet that protects at least one of a surface of the first electrode for electrolysis and a surface of the second electrode for electrolysis.
