Abstract:
Provided is a laminate for a water electrolysis device, the laminate including a polymer electrolyte membrane and an electrode catalyst layer provided on one surface of the polymer electrolyte membrane. The electrode catalyst layer contains a catalyst, a polymer electrolyte, and a fibrous material. The membrane electrode assembly for a water electrolysis device includes the aforementioned laminate for a water electrolysis device and a second electrode catalyst layer and includes the electrode catalyst layer, the polymer electrolyte membrane, and the second electrode catalyst layer in this order.
