Abstract:
This rubber/metal laminate is a metal/adhesive layer/ perfluoroelastomer layer laminate in which the perfluoro- elastomer layer is a vulcanized product layer formed from a blend comprising 100 parts by weight of a perfluoroelastomer and 2 to 10 parts by weight of a vinylidene fluoride -chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer. In the rubber/metal laminate, the interply adhesion of the perfluoroelastomer to the metal is effectively improved, while the occurrence of pockmarks (craters) on the surface of the perfluoroelastomer layer laminated onto the metal is effectively minimized.
