Abstract:
A laminate having a polarizer material film and a base material film provided upon the polarizer material film and stretched in at least one direction. The retardation Re1 in the in-plane direction of the polarizer material film is at least 10 nm. The thickness T1 of the polarizer material film is no more than 40 µm. An angle θ1 formed between the slow axis direction of the polarizer material film and the slow axis direction of the base material film is 1–90°. The polarizer material film may be obtained by dry stretching.
