Abstract:
A capacitor 1 is provided with a cuboidal laminated body 2 in which dielectric layers 4 and internal electrodes 5 are alternately layered, and a pair of external electrodes 3 which are disposed on opposing side surfaces 2b of the laminated body 2 and which are respectively electrically connected to mutually different internal electrodes 5. The pair of external electrodes 3 are positioned at the center of the opposing side surfaces 2b. The internal electrodes 5 include an internal electrode body 5a, and a neck portion 5b extending from the internal electrode body 5a toward either of the side surfaces 2b and connected to the external electrodes 3, and the external electrodes 3 are opposed to the internal electrode body 5a around the neck portion 5b via a part of the dielectric layers 4. The internal electrode body 5a at parts thereof opposed to the external electrodes 3 is provided with a conductor portion 7 protruding on the external electrode 3 side and connected to the neck portion 5b.
