Abstract:
The present invention addresses the first problem of providing a laminated glass interlayer that suppresses reduction in sunlight transmission through laminated glass and that can brighten an entire room by efficiently diffusing transmitted light, and of providing laminated glass that uses the laminated glass interlayer. The present invention further addresses the second problem of providing a production method for obtaining a laminated glass interlayer for which light transmissivity and light diffusivity are ensured, by recycling the trim and off-spec product from a laminated glass interlayer that uses a polyvinyl acetal resin layer and a thermoplastic elastomer layer. The present invention relates to a laminated glass interlayer having a layer A containing a polyvinyl acetal resin, wherein a thermoplastic elastomer is dispersed in the layer A and the laminated glass interlayer, when used in laminated glass, provides a haze of at least 10% and a total light transmittance of at least 80%.
