Abstract:
Provided are a laminated image pickup element, an image processing apparatus, an image processing method, and a program that are capable of improving, when a visible light image and an infrared light image are captured simultaneously, the accuracy of color correction processing while maintaining the resolution of the visible light image. In the laminated image pickup element, a first image pickup element is stacked on a light receiving surface of a second image pickup element; at least some of first pixels arranged on the second image pickup element are arranged in positions that are, in a corresponding stacking direction, superposed on positions of first pixels of the first image pickup element; and at least some of third pixels of the second image pickup element are arranged in positions that are, in a corresponding stacking direction, superposed on positions of second pixels of the first image pickup element.
