Title:
LAMINATED-INDUCTOR-ELEMENT MANUFACTURING METHOD, LAMINATED INDUCTOR ELEMENT, AND LAMINATE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/155810
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a laminated-inductor-element manufacturing method wherein even a thick laminate with a nonmagnetic layer formed as an intermediate layer can be segmented along cut grooves without needing a large amount of force. Magnetic substrates and a nonmagnetic substrate are laminated and pressure-bonded together in a second step, making it such that a plurality of via holes formed in the nonmagnetic substrate, which serves as an intermediate layer, are embedded in the magnetic substrates. The magnetic layers are thus integrated together by the via holes. The magnetic substrates have higher coefficients of linear expansion than the nonmagnetic substrate. As such, when the magnetic layers are cooled to room temperature after firing, said magnetic layers contract more than the nonmagnetic layer, producing tensile stress. Since cracks progress due to tensile stress, cracks that start at V-shaped grooves progress through the integrated magnetic layers in the direction of lamination, and since the magnetic layers are continuous from top to bottom, cracks progress from top to bottom.
