Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a high-strength, water-resistant, and non-peeling laminated porous PTFE film that exhibits a good air permeability and a good collection performance, and to provide a method for producing same. A laminated porous PTFE film according to the present invention is characterized by being constituted of an at least trilayer laminate that contains three layers of a first layer, a second layer, and a third layer, wherein the first layer and the third layer are porous PTFE film layers that are produced by PTFE emulsion polymerized particles with an average molecular weight of at least 3 million and that have micropores formed by fibrils and nodes, and the second layer is disposed between the first layer and the third layer and is a poorly fibrillatable porous modified PTFE film layer produced by PTFE emulsion polymerized particles containing a copolymerizable modifier.
