Abstract:
Disclosed is a novel composition which has a function of accelerating production of laminin-332. The composition is stable and safe, and can be used routinely.
Specifically disclosed is a laminin-332 production accelerating composition which contains one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of D-alanine, D-hydroxyproline, derivatives of D-alanine or D-hydroxyproline and/or salts of D-alanine or D-hydroxyproline. The composition may be used for the purpose of suppressing and/or improving skin conditions. The skin conditions may include but are not limited to photoaging, wrinkles, rough skin, fine wrinkles and dry skin. The composition may be used for an external preparation for the skin or food.
