Abstract:
Disclosed is a lamp body (100) for supporting an LED module (51). The lamp body comprises a plastic shell (11) and a radiator (21) mounted within the plastic shell (11) for absorbing the heat produced by the LED module (51), with heat radiation holes (111) being provided on the plastic shell (11) for dissipating the heat absorbed by the radiator (21). The lamp body enables the heat emitted from the lamp to be radiated via the radiator and performs a heat exchange with the outside through the heat radiation holes on the plastic shell, such that while ensuring the heat radiation, the shell temperature is not too high so that people will not feel hot when touching it. Further disclosed is an LED bulb using the lamp body. When touching the shell of the LED bulb during replacement, utilization and maintenance, the lamp bulb would not be damaged as a result of the shell being very hot, such that the maintenance rate of the lamp bulb can be reduced efficiently.
