Abstract:
Provided are a lamp housing for a vehicle lighting tool and a vehicle lighting tool that enable weight reduction without an increase in material cost and without a reduction in product quality due to the reduction in rigidity (strength). The present invention is a lamp housing (3) that forms a lighting chamber (10) together with a lamp lens (2). The lamp housing (3) comprises a first member (5) and a second member (6). The rigidity of the first member (5) is higher than the rigidity of the second member (6). The first member (5) is used for a portion of the lamp housing (3) where high rigidity is required. As a result, the present invention enables weight reduction without an increase in material cost and without a reduction in product quality due to a reduction in rigidity (strength).
