Abstract:
Disclosed is a lamp wherein temperature rise of a circuit element can be alleviated effectively. The lamp (10) is provided with an LED module (4) comprised of LED chips (4b); a base (2) for receiving power; a switch-on circuit (7) comprising circuit elements (71) for generating power, from the power received by the base (2), to make the LED module (4) emit light; an inner case (6) that is a resin cylinder for housing the switch-on circuit (7) therein; and an outer case (3) that is a cylinder for housing the inner case (6). A protrusion section (65) that comes in direct contact with the inner circumference face of the outer case (3) is formed on the outer circumference face of the inner case (6).
