Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a lamp unit control device which can detect, with a simple configuration, disconnect that occurs in LEDs when a plurality of LEDs that are used as a light source in a lamp unit are caused to flash independently of each other, and which achieves lamp unit flashing having higher renderability. This lamp unit control device has a lamp control circuit (310) by which, on the basis of flashing patterns stipulated for time divisions which are formed by time dividing a period during which drive voltage is input, the flashing of each of a plurality of LEDs (411a, … 411i, 411j) is controlled so that the LEDs which will be lit are switched and so that in at least one time division all of the plurality of LEDs are lit.
