Abstract:
Provided is a lamp whereby cost reduction and smaller size are achieved and it is possible to improve reliability of a lighting instrument. A linear lamp (1) comprises: a light source part wherein LED elements are arrayed linearly; a linear cover (9) which houses the light source part; and metal cap parts (5) which attach lamp pins (6) which are connected to the light source part at the end faces and engage with both ends of the linear cover (9). The metal cap parts (5) are shaped from a resin in a cylindrical shape which is closed off on one end. Protrusion part (7) are disposed in either the outer circumference face of the linear cover (9) or the inner circumference faces of the metal cap parts (5), and engagement parts (10) which the protrusion parts (7) engage therewith are disposed in the other thereof. The engagement parts (10) further comprise gaps (S) which are disposed in the longitudinal direction of the linear cover (9) between the engagement parts and the protrusion parts (7) which engage therewith.
