Title:
LANDING DOOR INSTALLATION STRUCTURE OF ELEVATOR FOR BASE ISOLATED BUILDING
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2006/082786
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A landing door installation structure of an elevator for a base isolated building, wherein even if guide rails (3) and (4) are largely deformed by a relative displacement between an (N)th floor and an (N+1)th floor when an earthquake occurs, landing doors (9) on these floors are rotated about a floor side pivot member (10) and a ceiling side pivot member (11) by the action of a base isolating device (8) to change their attitudes so as to follow up the horizontal displacements of the guide rails (3) and (4). Accordingly, distances between the guide rail (3) and the landing doors (9) are prevented from being largely changed. Thus, a reduction in an effectively available floor area in the building can be minimized, and the complication of component mounting structures can be avoided.
