A landing pad for an unmanned aerial vehicle, comprising a base (3100), an upper platform (3200), and a support mechanism (3300) for supporting the upper platform (3200) above the base (3100) so that the upper platform (3200) and the base (3100) are spaced apart from each other. The support mechanism is extensible in the height direction thereof so that the upper platform (3200) has: a first working position, the support mechanism (3300) being in an upwardly stretched state when the upper platform (3200) is at the first working position; and a second working position, the support mechanism (3300) being in a downwardly retracted state when the upper platform (3200) is at the second working position. Since the upper platform (3200) has two working positions, the position of the unmanned aerial vehicle can be adjusted in a height direction, because a landing gear for the unmanned aerial vehicle can be stably placed in the landing pad.
