Abstract:
The present invention improves reliability in detecting a travel lane in cases where the imaging environment changes. This lane detection apparatus includes: a first imaging device that is fixed to a movable body and periodically captures a first image under a predetermined first imaging condition; a second imaging device that is fixed to the movable body and periodically captures a second image under a second imaging condition different from the first imaging condition; and a computing device that detects, in the first image, a first border line of a travel lane on which the movable body is travelling, detects a second border line of the travel lane in the second image, and estimates the position of the first border line in the first image on the basis of the second border line in the second image under a predetermined execution condition.
