Abstract:
Provided is a lane rope float that does not easily injure a swimmer even should a collision occur with the hands, feet, or the like. The lane rope float 300 divides each lane in a pool by being mounted to a rope R via a cylinder 110 and is formed from a synthetic resin material, the float being characterized by: comprising, on the periphery of the cylinder 110, a plurality of vanes 120 that protrude parallel to the rope R, and an outer circumferential wall 130 that covers the vanes 120 and that is connected to side ends 121 of the vanes 120; and being configured such that grooves 160A are formed between the side ends 121 of the vanes 120 and the outer circumferential wall 130, connection ends 122 of the side ends 121 of the vanes 120 are connected to the outer circumferential wall 130, and the outer circumferential wall 130 can elastically deform toward the vanes 120 so that the grooves 160A collapse.
