Abstract:
In the present invention, local laser over-irradiation is prevented, and in a target range for medical treatment, uniform laser irradiation is carried out. Provided is a laser ablation device (10) comprising the following: a light source (17A) that emits a laser beam for cauterizing a diseased area; a fiber (15) that is disposed within an insertion unit (11) and which guides the laser beam emitted by the light source so that the laser beam is emitted from the tip of the insertion unit; and a first drive unit (16) that is disposed on the fiber and causes the fiber to oscillate at a first frequency.
