Abstract:
Provided are a laser device, a multi-wavelength laser device, and a photoacoustic measuring device capable of suppressing increased size of the device, increased cost, or decreased output. Comprised are: a laser crystal; a resonator that includes a pair of mirrors sandwiching the laser crystal; a Q switch that is arranged on a light path of the resonator, and that controls the Q value of the resonator; and a Brewster type thin film polarizer that is arranged on the light path of the resonator, and that selectively transmits p polarized light, wherein with the thin film polarizer, the p polarized light transmittance of a first wavelength indicating maximum gain of the laser crystal is 5%-25% [inclusive], as the wavelength becomes longer than the first wavelength, there is a monotonic increase in the p polarized light transmittance, there is wavelength selectivity indicating the maximum transmittance with a third wavelength, and the laser device oscillates laser light of a second wavelength that is longer than the first wavelength, and that is the third wavelength or less.
