Abstract:
A laser device is provided with a light source 10 which can output infrared light in a switchable manner between pulsed light and continuous light, and a wavelength conversion element 50 which converts the wavelength of infrared light with an intensity of a first threshold value or more into visible light. The pulsed light has an intensity of not less than the first threshold value. The continuous light has an intensity of less than the first threshold value. Laser light comprising infrared light is output via the wavelength conversion element 50, wherein, when a position for laser light irradiation is to be confirmed, the pulsed light is output, and during a laser light processing, the continuous light is output. Thus, visible light is output during confirmation of the laser light irradiation position, while during the laser light processing, an object to be processed is irradiated with the laser light in which wavelength conversion into visible light is suppressed.
