Abstract:
A laser device comprising a multimode fiber that guides a laser beam, wherein the incidence of four-wave mixing is minimized. This laser device (1) comprises: a multimode fiber (LDF) that guides laser light generated by a laser; and a higher-order-mode processor (MP) that processes at least some of the light of at least one mode among the higher-order-mode light of the laser light, which will be four-wave-mixed pump light that can appear in the multimode fiber (LDF).
