Abstract:
In the present invention a high-frequency power supply 106, the input of which is connected to a bank capacitor 104, intermittently supplies an alternating voltage VDRV to a laser light source 2. In addition, during an idle period of the high-frequency power supply 106 a charging power supply 102 charges the bank capacitor 104 to a target voltage VREF.
