Abstract:
Disclosed are a laser headlamp and an illuminating system thereof, and a laser safety protection method. The laser headlamp is provided with a polarization splitting prism (2); a laser source (1) is arranged on an incident plane of the polarization splitting prism (2); and a reflecting mirror (3) is arranged on a transmitting path of the polarization splitting prism (2); laser generated by the laser source (1) is converted into white light to be radiated to the polarization splitting prism (2), wherein P polarized light in the white light is radiated to the reflecting mirror (3) through the polarization splitting prism (2), and is radiated to a road surface to form illumination after being reflected by the reflecting mirror (3); if a fluorescent powder layer of a fluorescent screen (1a) falls off or is suffered from a laser breakdown, laser which is not converted is directly radiated to the polarization splitting prism (2); laser is completely reflected by the polarization splitting prism (2) as S polarized light; therefore, laser is prevented from being radiated to the road surface through the reflecting mirror (3) to cause harm to pedestrians and the passive safety protection is implemented. The technical solution solves the problem of laser leakage of the laser headlamp, caused by damage of the fluorescent layer, and of harms to human eyes.
