Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a technology enabling to suppress service life deterioration of a laser light source device. A laser light source device of the present invention is provided with: a laser bank having a plurality of semiconductor laser elements; a drive unit that flows a current to the semiconductor laser elements of the laser bank; a light amount detection unit that detects the amount of light outputted from the laser bank; a temperature detection unit that detects the temperature of the laser bank; and a control unit, which determines a current limit value on the basis of the temperature thus detected, and controls the current of the drive unit on the basis of the light amount thus detected, and the current limit value.
