Abstract:
Disclosed is a laser light source module which does not emit laser light when taken out of a device or when the device is modified so that a portion of the device can be removed. Specifically disclosed is a laser light source module which is installed in a casing for use and which is provided with: a laser unit, which has a storage unit for storing a password and which operates when an inputted password matches the password stored in the storage unit; a password setting mechanism, which generates different data depending on the state of the casing; and a password generating circuit, which generates an input password that matches the password stored in the storage unit by using the data generated by means of the password setting mechanism when the casing is in a normal state.
