Abstract:
A laser oscillation device (100) is provided with an external resonator (10) constituted of: laser mediums (11, 12) that emit laser beams of different wavelengths; and a partial reflection mirror (14) that transmits some of the laser beams and reflects the remainder, returning same to the laser mediums (11, 12). Arranged in the interior of the external resonator (10) are: a diffraction grating (13) that superimposes into one the plurality of laser beams of different wavelengths emitted from the laser mediums (11, 12), and that wavelength couples the superimposed laser beams and outputs same to the partial reflection mirror (14); and a prism (15) which is disposed between the laser mediums (11, 12) and the diffraction grating (13) and causes the plurality of laser beams to superimpose into one on the diffraction grating (13), and one of the two surfaces forming the apex angle of the prism being the input surface and the other being the output surface.
