Abstract:
A laser printing data generator (150) comprises: a first generation unit (503) that, on the basis of a captured image obtained by imaging a workpiece on which printing by a laser marker (100A) is to be carried out, generates shape data indicative of the shape of the workpiece; and a second generation unit (122) that provides an input screen and that receives information input in accordance with information on the input screen to generate printing data. The second generation unit (122) includes, in the input screen, a workpiece image indicated by the shape data which has been generated by the first generation unit (503).
