Abstract:
Provided are a laser processing system and a laser processing method, by which a
focal position of a processing laser using a visible laser can be highly accurately and
efficiently specified. A laser processing system (100) is composed of a processing
laser oscillator (1); a focusing optical system (3) having a focusing lens (32);
two visible laser oscillators (51, 52); a shift adjusting section, which performs
advancing/retracting adjustment in synchronization with the focusing lens
(32) and the visible laser oscillators (51, 52); an imaging section for picking
up an image of a spot beam of the visible laser on an object (W) to be processed; an
image processing section, which processes a picked up image and displays the processed
image; a calculating section, which calculates gravity center positions of
visible laser spot beams applied on the object (W) corresponding to the shift of
the focusing lens (32), in a status where each of the visible laser beams is focused at
the focal position of the processing laser, and calculates a distance between such
gravity centers; and a control section, which controls the shift adjusting section
to make the distance between the gravity centers zero.
