Abstract:
In a conventional laser radar device, distance resolution is changed in advance in accordance with a measurement distance, resulting in the problem that re-measurement is necessary after the distance resolution has been changed. The laser radar device of the present invention is provided with: an optical oscillator which causes laser light to oscillate; an optical modulator which modulates the laser light that has been caused to oscillate by the optical oscillator; an optical antenna which radiates the laser light that has been modulated by the optical modulator into the atmosphere, and receives scattered light from an irradiated object as received light; an optical receiver which subjects the received light received by the optical antenna to heterodyne detection; and a signal processor which calculates, for each range bin, a spectrum of a received signal obtained by the heterodyne detection performed by the optical receiver, calculates a signal-to-noise ratio for the range bin, and if the signal-to-noise ratio is equal to or less than a threshold, integrates the spectrum of the range bin with the spectra of one or more range bins adjacent to said range bin.
