Abstract:
A Raman laser radar system having spectra resolution capability and capable of simultaneously measuring Raman spectra of water in a mixed phase and fluorescence spectra of aerosol in the atmosphere. The system consists of an emission unit, an optical receiving and signal detection unit, and a control unit. The emission unit outputs, using a seed-injected solid laser, a 354.8 nm ultraviolet laser signal having a very narrow line width and guides the signal to the zenith; the optical receiving and signal detection unit collects backward scattered light from substances in the atmosphere, and generates an inhibition superior to 15 orders of magnitude to light proximate to 354.8 nm, and records, using 0.8 nm spectra accuracy, signal light within 393.0-424.0 nm spectral range; the control unit controls the entire radar system.
