Abstract:
A laser sheet processing machine (100) comprising a frame (105) whereon parts are located, frame foot (105.1) connected to the frame (105), cutting area (101) where cutting is performed, motion system (104) connected to the mentioned frame foot (105.1) and providing movement in X direction (X) and a bridge (103) providing movement cutting head (102) and it is characterized in comprising at least a passing space (105.2) providing passing of sheet to be cut to cutting area (101) formed on the frame (105) or frame foot (105.1).

CLAIMS

1 A laser sheet processing machine (100) comprising

- a frame (105) whereon parts are located,

- frame foot (105.1 ) connected to the frame (105),

- cutting area (101 ) where cutting is performed,

- motion system (104) connected to said frame foot (105.1 ) and providing movement in X direction (X),

- cutting head (102) providing focusing of laser ray onto sheet to be cut by connection to the bridge (103) and capable to move in direction (X), Y direction (Y) and Z direction (Z),

- bridge (103) carrying mentioned cutting head (102), providing movement of itself in X direction (X) and cutting head (102) in Y direction (Y) and characterized in comprising;

- at least a passing space (105.2) providing passing of sheet to be cut to cutting area (101 ) formed on the frame (105) or frame foot (105.1 ).

2 A laser sheet processing machine (100) according to claim 1 , characterized in that the mentioned passing space (105.2) has a height (H) so as sum of heights of the mentioned upper cutting trolley (106.1 ) or lower cutting trolley (106.2) and the sheet to be processed and a width bigger or equal to width (B) of upper cutting trolley (106.1 ) or lower cutting trolley (106.2).

3 A laser sheet processing machine (100) according to claim 1 , characterized in that the passing space (105.2) having a rectangular geometry.

LASER SHEET PROCESSING MACHINE WITH FRAME PROVIDING

AREA EFFICIENCY

The Related Art

Invention relates to a laser sheet processing machine providing efficient use of area where machine is installed for laser sheet processing machines in general, by means of changing machine construction.

The invention particularly relates to a laser sheet processing machine increasing area efficiency and machine efficiency and performance by help of free space provided on the frame.

Prior Art

In the similar machines in current embodiments (the machines in which sheet is given from long edge thereof), bridge is produced in sheet height size. In this case the similar machines are available in the market as machines of 3 x 1 ,5 meters and 4 x 2 meters. Since it is necessary to produce bridge in long dimension, production of machines longer than 4 meters become a problem.

Since bridge is designed for required stroke along long edge in machines in the related art, deflection may occur on the bridge. Bridge is made stronger in order to reduce deflection probability. Bridge is designed heavy because of this situation and long size of bridge. When the bridge becomes heavier it causes more slowly working and bulky machine occur in comparison to machines having lighter bridge.

Bigger engines and drives should be selected to provide cutting speed and acceleration same as the bridge produced long in the related art. However, desired speed and accelerations can not be achieved because of limited speed and acceleration capacities of the products. In order to reach the desired speed and acceleration values as close as possible, bigger engines and drives are used and cost rises too much. Bigger engine and drive consume much more energy and therefore machines of low efficiency but consuming too much energy can be produced.

During the patent search in the background of the related art, the patent numbered TR2012/04317 relates to fibre laser cutting machine providing easy and fast cutting of products such as metal sheet etc.

Another patent encountered in the related art is the patent numbered TR2012/07453 which relates to laser cutting machines consisting of laser unit, laser control unit, laser scanning head and feet where fixed. The invention is characterized in that it consists of at least an up down lift mechanism providing up and down, back and forth position adjustment of the laser unit and/or at least an up and down lift control unit controlling back and forth movement mechanism and/on position adjustment mechanisms and/ or back and forth movement mechanism control unit and/or it does not need air cooling externally.

In the patent applications numbered TR2012/04317 and TR2012/07453 encountered in patent search of the related art, bridge sizes are too long in respect to machine construction, and accordingly, probability of deflection occurrence increases. Bigger engine and drives are to be used to achieve desired speed and acceleration because of long bridge size, and this increases cost. Low efficient machines consuming much more energy are produced.

In conclusion, developments have been made in laser sheet processing machine and, therefore, new embodiments eliminating the above disadvantages and offering solutions to existing systems are needed. Description of the Invention

The present invention relates to laser sheet processing machine meeting the needs mentioned above, eliminating all disadvantages and providing some additional advantages.

The main purpose of the invention is to provide efficient use of area where machine is installed by means of changing laser sheet processing machine construction.

Another purpose of the invention is to design the bridge, a part of the laser sheet processing machine, short in such manner that it will provide stroke of short edge of the sheet to be cut.

A further purpose of the invention is to provide passing of the system to carry the sheet to be loaded to the cutting area, through body and provide working opportunity with short bridge by help of body design providing motion of bridge in this area.

Another purpose of the invention is to decrease the deflection that might occur on the bridge since the bridge is designed for required stroke along short edge. Another purpose of the invention is to provide a lighter bridge because of short value of bridge and thus provide more serial operations of the machine.

A further purpose of the invention is to achieve desired cutting speed and acceleration values with short size of bridge. Another purpose of the invention is to reduce cost by help of using smaller engine and drive than normal one in order to achieve the desired speed and acceleration. A further purpose of the invention is to produce high efficient machines consuming less energy due to smaller engine and drive consume less energy.

In order to achieve all advantages mentioned above and to be understood better with the detailed description given below, the invention relates to a laser sheet processing machine comprising a frame whereon parts are located, frame foot connected to the frame, cutting area where cutting is performed, moving system connected to the mentioned frame foot and providing movement in X direction, cutting head providing focusing of laser ray onto sheet to be cut by connection to the bridge and capable to move in X direction, Y direction and Z direction, bridge carrying the mentioned cutting head, providing movement of itself in X direction and cutting head in Y direction and it is characterized in comprising a frame foot discharge providing passing of sheet to be cut through said frame foot and opening onto frame foot from lateral side which is parallel according to walking way of bridge.

The structural and characteristic features and all advantages of the invention will be understood better in the figures given below and the detailed description by reference to the figures. Therefore, the assessment should be made based on the figures and the detailed descriptions.

Brief Description of the Drawings In order to make the embodiment and additional members being subject of the present invention as well as the advantages clearer for better understanding, it should be assessed with reference to the following described figures.

Figure 3 is general perspective view of laser sheet processing machine of the prior art.

Detailed Description of the Invention Figure 1 shows mounted front perspective view of the laser sheet processing machine (100) of the invention. The invention allows efficient use of area where machine is installed by means of changing machine construction of laser sheet processing machines (100). Figure 2 shows mounted side perspective view of the laser sheet processing machine (100) of the invention. It comprising a frame (105) providing positioning of the parts thereon and frame foot (105.1 ) formed on the mentioned frame (105). It comprising a cutting area (101 ) connected to the frame (105) and where cutting operation is performed. Motion system (104) provides movement in X direction (X) by connection to the mentioned frame foot (105.1 ). Motion in motion system (104) is provided by engine, rail, and transmission members. It has cutting head (102) connected to bridge (103) and capable to focus onto sheet to be cut by laser and providing performance of cutting and capable to move in X direction (X), Y direction (Y) and Z direction (Z). The bridge (103) provides its movement in X direction (X) and movement of cutting head (102) in Y direction (Y) by means of carrying said the mentioned cutting head (102). It has a passing space (105.2) providing passing of the sheet to be cut through the mentioned frame foot (105.1 ) and formed on the frame (105) or frame foot (105.1 ) from side part of bridge (103) parallel to walking way. The sheet to be cut is carried to the cutting area (101 ) by shuttle trolley (106) (106 is shown in Figure 1 ). The mentioned shuttle table (106) comprising two cutting trolleys moving in Y direction (Y), Y1 direction (Y1 ) and Z1 direction (Z1 ). It comprising an upper cutting trolley (106.1 ) carrying the sheet to be cut to cutting area (101 ) and forming cutting area during cutting and lower cutting trolley (106.2) carrying the sheet to be cut to cutting area (101 ) and forming cutting area during cutting. Frame (105) embodiment allows movement of the upper cutting trolley (106.1 ) and the lower cutting trolley (106.2) in Y direction (Y) and carrying the sheet to the cutting area (101 ). It also provides movement of the bridge (103) on motion system (104). The frame (105) is designed to have frame foot (105.1 ) and passing space (105.2) on the frame foot (105.1 ). Said passing space (105.2) is designed to have height (H) minimum up to sum of heights of said upper cutting trolley (106.1 ) or lower cutting trolley (106.2) and the sheet to be processed and a width bigger or equal to width (B) of upper cutting trolley (106.1 ) or lower cutting trolley (106.2). As mentioned the passing space (105.2) is sized in a rectangular geometry capable to provide adequate space allowing passing of upper cutting trolley (106.1 ) or lower cutting trolley (106.2).
