Title:
LASER SYSTEM HAVING A TUNABLE DIGITAL SPECTRUM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/092296
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The present invention allows selective filtering across the entire spectral range, including the VIS spectrum and the NIR spectrum. For this purpose, the configuration of the system comprises a polarising splitting cube for splitting the laser beam into two beams, namely a transmitted beam and a reflected beam, with respective linear polarisations that are perpendicular to one another. Two arms extend from the cube, each arm carrying, respectively, each beam and operating in the VIS range and in the NIR range. The system also comprises two modulators adapted to operate in the VIS range and in the NIR range, respectively. The beams are reflected and modulated, each in a liquid crystal on silicon-type spatial light modulator (LCOS-SLM), and, following reflection, the beams are recombined by the same optical system.
