The present invention pertains to a laser transmission characteristic value determination method, and more specifically to a laser transmission characteristic value determination method for determining an appropriate transmission characteristic value for a laser so as to ensure no less than a predetermined font size in letters that are marked by marking a cell letter using a laser on a heat shrink tube formed on the outer periphery of a battery cell.
