Abstract:
An irradiation position of measuring light S is capable of being switched between a keyhole 37 position coaxial with the optical axis of laser light L, and a welding bead 38 position further toward the rear in a welding direction than the center of the optical axis of the laser light L. Furthermore, on the basis of a measured value of a recess depth measured at the welding bead 38 position, a determination is carried out to ascertain whether a gap has been generated between an upper side metal plate 31 and a lower side metal plate 32.
