Abstract:
The present invention relates to a latch device for a vehicle trunk, the latch device comprising: a base part mounted to a vehicle body and having a moving hole portion for guiding movements of a striker; a latch part rotatably installed in the base part and restraining the striker inserted through the moving hole portion; a pawl part rotatably installed in the base part and engaged with the latch part so as to arrest the rotation of the latch part; a link part rotatably mounted to the base part and including a plurality of links rotatably connected to each other; a transmission part rotatably mounted to the base part and connected to the link part; a lever pin part mounted to the link part and engaged with the latch part; a cancel lever part rotatably mounted to the base part, moving while being engaged with the pawl part and the link part, and guiding the lever pin part; and a driving part mounted to the base part and providing a driving force to the transmission part, whereby a trunk door can be locked and unlocked using one driving power source.
