Abstract:
A launching method and a display method for an application program, and a terminal, which relate to the technical field of computers. Said launching method for an application program comprises: determining whether it is detected that a finger touches an application icon displayed in a display region (101); determining whether the touch position of the finger is located in a fingerprint recognition region (102); if so, starting a fingerprint acquisition function, and acquiring, in the fingerprint recognition region, fingerprint information of the finger (103); performing authentication using the fingerprint information (104); and when the authentication passes, launching an application program corresponding to the application icon (105). In said method and terminal, authentication is performed simultaneously when a user clicks an application icon, simplifying the process for safely launching an application, improving the verification efficiency.
