Abstract:

Polymeric material obtained by polymerising an ethylenically unsaturated perfluoroalkyl monomer and optionally other ethylenically unsaturated monomers, the polymer containing aromatic moieties can be used to give anti soil redeposition, soil release and oil repellency properties to fabric when used in the wash step or the rinse step of a laundry process.
