Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a housing (2); an outer tank (1) that is elastically supported within the housing (2); a laundry tank (4) that is rotatably provided within the outer tank (1); a water conveyance path (19) that allows laundry water within the outer tank (1) to circulate; and a circulation pump (20) that circulates the laundry water through the water conveyance path (19). The present invention also comprises a centrifugal separation part (21) that is provided to the water conveyance path (19) and centrifugally separates foreign matter included in the laundry water flowing through the water conveyance path (19). The centrifugal separation part (21) has a case (21a) that forms an outer shell, and a hollow rotating cylinder (21b) that rotates in an interior of the case (21a). Formed in the rotating cylinder (21b) are a rotating cylinder inlet (21e) and a rotating cylinder outlet (21f) in order for the laundry water being circulated by the circulation pump (20) to flow through the rotating cylinder (21b). Furthermore, the direction in which the laundry water flows through the rotating cylinder (21b) matches the rotational axis direction of the rotating cylinder (21b).
