Abstract:
A laver cultivation support pillar 4 with a closely integrated composite structure has a core layer 1 composed of a thermoplastic resin, an FRP layer 2 formed on the outer circumference of the core layer 1, and a coating layer 3 formed on the outer circumference of the FRP layer 2. The FRP layer 2 has an FRP inner layer 21 and an FRP outer layer 22. The FRP inner layer 21 has mainly long fibrous carbon fibers 2a as reinforcement fibers which are aligned longitudinally on the outer circumference of the core layer 1 in the lengthwise direction and bound by a matrix component. The FRP outer layer 22 has mainly long fibrous glass fibers 2b as reinforcement fibers which are aligned longitudinally on the outer circumference of the FRP inner layer 21 and bound by a matrix component.
