Abstract:
The present application discloses a layer synthesis method and apparatus, an electronic device and a storage medium. Said method comprises: acquiring a plurality of layers of an interface to be displayed; determining whether the current resource occupancy rate of a graphics processing unit (GPU) is less than a preset threshold; if the current resource occupancy rate of the GPU is less than the preset threshold, synthesizing the plurality of layers by means of the GPU, to obtain said interface for display; if the current resource occupancy rate of the GPU is greater than or equal to the preset threshold, synthesizing the plurality of layers by means of cooperation of the GPU with a multimedia display processor (MPD), to obtain said interface for display, thereby avoiding high overall power consumption of an electronic device due to high power consumption of the GPU.
