Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a layered body having excellent adhesion of a light absorption anisotropic film and a barrier layer, a method for manufacturing the layered body, and an image display device which uses the layered body. This layered body has a barrier layer A and a light absorption anisotropic film B, wherein the barrier layer A is provided on the light absorption anisotropic film B adjacently thereto, the relationship between the compound A1 having the greatest content included in the barrier layer A and the compound B1 having the greatest content included in the light absorption anisotropic film B satisfies a relationship in which the value of the distance calculated from Hansen solubility parameters and represented by formula (I) is in the range of 0.0 to 5.0, and the light absorption anisotropic film B contains the same components as the compound A1.
