Provided is a layered inductor that can easily be installed within a metal shield of an electronic device, and is able to have high inductance while minimizing increases in the direct current resistance value. The disclosed layered inductor (10) has a rectangular parallelepiped layered body (11) and a pair of terminal electrodes (15a, 15b) formed only on the underside of the layered body. A loop-back conductor strip (14a) that makes approximately one full turn is disposed on a first magnetic body layer, one end of the loop-back conductor strip being disposed in the vicinity of a first corner, and the other end positioned towards the center relative to the one end so that the other end is not stacked on top of the one end. Additionally, a plurality of groups of coil conductor strips, each group forming approximately one full turn in total, are disposed on each of a plurality of magnetic layer bodies in the layered body (11). Thus, an increase in the conductor length in the intersecting region between the coil conductor connected to one end of the loop-back conductor strip, and the coil conductor connected to the other end of the loop-back conductor strip is minimized.
