Abstract:
Disclosed is a layered structure having a first electrode and a second electrode; a light-emitting layer or a charge separation layer between the first and second electrode; and a layer between the first electrode and the light-emitting layer or the charge separation layer, containing a conjugated polymer compound having a repeating unit selected from the group comprising repeating units represented by formula (1) and the like. (1) (In formula (1), Ar1 represents a bivalent aromatic group, R1 represents a substituent group including a group represented by formula (2), and Ar1 can have a substituent group other thanR1. n1 represents an integer greater than or equal to 1.) (2) (In formula (2), R2 represents a bivalent aromatic group that can have a substituent group, Q1 represents a bivalent organic group that can have a substituent group; Y1 represents a carbocation, an ammonium cation, a phosphonyl cation, or a sulfonyl cation; M1 represents F-, Cl-, Br-, I-, OH-, RaSO3 -, RaCOO-, ClO-, Cl02 -, Cl03 -, Cl04 -, SCN-, CN-, NO3 -,SO4 2-, HSO4 -, PO4 3-, HPO4 2-, H2PO4 -, BF4 -, or PF6 -; Z1 represents an ammonium ion that can have a metal ion or a substituent group; c1 represents 0 or 1; and n2 represents an integer greater than or equal to 0. However, if c1 is 0, n2 is 0. The variable a1 represents an integer greater than or equal to 1, and b1 represents an integer greater than or equalto 0. The variables a1 and b1 are selected so that the charge of the substituent group represented by formula (2) is 0. Ra represents an alkyl group with between 1 and 30 carbon atoms, that can have a substituent group; or an aryl group with between 6 and 50 carbon atoms, that can have a substituent group.)
