Abstract:
This layered thermoelectric element (101) is a layered thermoelectric element configured so as to generate power from the temperature difference in a fixed heat-transmitting direction (91), the layered thermoelectric element having a first surface (31) and a second surface (32) which face one another. The first surface (31) and the second surface (32) are each provided with an external electrode for outputting power generated from the temperature difference. The first surface (31) and/or the second surface (32) are/is provided with a mark which makes it possible to determine, based on appearance, the polarity of the generated power and whether the type is of the high-temperature side or the low-temperature side in the heat-transmitting direction (91).
