Abstract:
The invention discloses a leaf spring for vehicle. It comprises at least one leaf, at least one surface of which is partly covered by damping body. With damping body setting on the surface of the leaf spring, the damping body would perform mainly an elastic shear deformation so as to absorb and exhaust the vibratory energy from outside when the leaf spring bends. Because of the steady damping characteristic of the damping material, there is no abrasion between the leaves and it is very difficult for water as well as oil to enter therebetween, so the vibration damping of the leaf spring is stable and reliable.
