Abstract:
An air cushion transport ship and a method thereof are provided. The air cushion
transport ship is composed of a ship hull and an air cushion cabin. The ship hull
is circular and is placed into a circular channel. The ship is propelled to rotate
around its own center in the channel. The displacement of the ship is kept constant
and the hull can be widen. Multi-circular ships can be overlapped one on top of
the other and the uppermost ship is actuated, thus forming a speed gradient between
said overlapped ships. A footplate is positioned between said overlapped ships.
The air cushion transport ship can be used as a traffic tool for conveying people,
a moving dining hall, etc.
