Abstract:
This leaning vehicle is provided with a vehicle body, a left front wheel (31L), a right front wheel (31R), a leaning mechanism (42), and a lean brake mechanism (50). As the vehicle body is banked about the front-back direction thereof as a rotation center, the leaning mechanism (42) causes the left front wheel (31L) and the right front wheel (31R) to lean about the front-back direction as a rotation center. The lean brake mechanism (50) operates a brake on a lean motion performed by the leaning mechanism (42). The lean brake mechanism (50) is provided with a brake caliper (60) and a brake disk (70). The brake caliper (60) is mounted to the leaning mechanism (42), and has a brake pad (65). The brake disk (70) is mounted to either of an upper arm (43) or a lower arm (44), whichever is situated farther away from the brake pad (65) than the other as seen in a frontal view, and has a contact part (73) that, when the brake pad (65) gets pressed thereagainst, generates braking force.
